What started in 2017 as a way to honor the final weeks we shared with our son Toby has grown into something truly beautiful — a movement of joy, generosity, and connection that now stretches across the country each August.

This year marks our 9th Annual Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) Campaign, and we’re setting our sights on a powerful goal:
🎯 One RAOK in every U.S. state by August 31 — in memory of Toby and for every grieving family we serve.

Here’s how you can join in:

💛 Do a Random Act of Kindness — big or small, it all counts. Pay for someone’s coffee. Leave a kind note. Donate supplies. Check in on a friend. Every act matters.

📥 Download our RAOK cards to leave behind with your gesture. These cards help share Toby’s story and remind the recipient that they’ve been touched by love.

📍 Help us map it out! After you complete your act, let us know where it happened so we can track our impact across all 50 states.

Whether you’re here in Pittsburgh or across the country, we invite you to be part of this beautiful ripple effect. Each RAOK is a light — a tribute to Toby’s life and the joy he brought to this world.

Here’s your next steps:

1️⃣Download your RAOK cards below (to leave with your act for others to find) – also our ‘You Found Me‘ note – for when you want to leave an item or treat for someone to find and know they can take home.

2️⃣Log your state – make sure you’re posting on social media, tagging @thelittlefoxfoundation and also #tagyourstate in your post, so that we can count your RAOK and fill in the states as we go through the month.

3️⃣Check out our map – we will update our map, tracking the states as they are filled, on our social media platforms throughout the month. Keep an eye out for what states we are still missing and share with your family, friends, and network to help us get this filled it.

Let’s fill the map with kindness. Let’s make August unforgettable.
